Posledi\u010dno se izjemno mrzle zra\u010dne mase, ki se iznad polarnega kroga pomikajo proti jugu, na svoji poti le malo ogrejejo. Hkrati med Kanado ter osrednjimi in vzhodnimi deli Zdru\u017eenih dr\u017eav Amerike ni izrazitih gorskih pregrad, zato se lahko ledeno mrzel arkti\u010dni zrak brez ve\u010djih ovir hitro raz\u0161iri dale\u010d proti jugu. Tak\u0161ni vdori so pozimi pogosti in lahko segajo vse do Mehi\u0161kega zaliva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Zakaj tako izraziti prodori arkti\u010dnega zraka nad Evropo niso mogo\u010di?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Evropa je s skoraj vseh strani obdana z morji, ki zaradi toplega Severnoatlantskega toka niti pozimi ne zamrznejo. Arkti\u010dna zra\u010dna masa se ob prehodu \u010dez Barentsovo in Norve\u0161ko morje ob\u010dutno ogreje, \u0161e preden dose\u017ee celino. Poleg tega njen prodor proti jugu Evrope omejujejo Alpe, Pireneji in druga gorovja. To je toliko, kot zna\u0161a povpre\u010dna temperaturna razlika med na\u0161o obalo in Kredarico!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Najni\u017eje temperature v Sloveniji izmerimo ob raz\u0161iritvi sibirskega anticiklona nad Evropo. Takrat prevladujo\u010de zahodnike nadomesti vi\u0161inski vzhodnik, ki zra\u010dno maso prina\u0161a iznad mo\u010dno ohlajene Rusije. Sibirska zra\u010dna masa se na poti proti na\u0161im krajem sicer prav tako ogreje, vendar precej manj kot ob prehodu \u010dez topla morja. Vetru, ki prina\u0161a mrzel zrak iznad Sibirije, pravimo buran, ki pa v zadnjih letih vse redkeje zapiha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kanado in Zdru\u017eene dr\u017eave Amerike je v zadnjih dneh preplavil izredno mrzel arkti\u010dni zrak, katerega prodor proti jugu spremljajo leden de\u017e, sne\u017eenje in mo\u010dan veter. Marsikje tudi popoldanske temperature vztrajajo pod \u201320 stopinjami Celzija. Tak\u0161en mraz je pri nas nepredstavljiv, v Severni Ameriki pa predstavlja povsem obi\u010dajen del
