Sonce ne segreva Zemljine povr\u0161ine enakomerno \u2013 nekatere predele ogreje mo\u010dneje, druge manj. Na polarne predele son\u010dni \u017earki padajo pod manj\u0161im kotom, zato se tam zrak segreje bistveno manj kot ob ekvatorju, kjer je Sonce vse leto visoko na nebu. Toplej\u0161i zrak nad ekvatorjem se dviga in ustvarja obmo\u010dje nizkega zra\u010dnega tlaka. Nad hladnej\u0161imi obmo\u010dji pa se zrak spu\u0161\u010da in tvori obmo\u010dje visokega tlaka. Veter tako posku\u0161a znova vzpostaviti ravnovesje med toplimi in hladnimi predeli planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010ce se Zemlja ne bi vrtela, bi zrak pri tleh neprestano pihal od visokega proti nizkemu tlaku \u2013 od hladnej\u0161ega severa proti toplej\u0161emu jugu. Vreme bi bilo enoli\u010dno, brez ve\u010djih sprememb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A ker se Zemlja vrti, se zra\u010dni tokovi odklanjajo \u2013 na severni polobli v desno, na ju\u017eni v levo. Zaradi tega nastajajo cikloni in anticikloni, ki oblikujejo na\u0161e vreme. Ti vetrovi so zna\u010dilni za posamezna obmo\u010dja in pogosto odlo\u010dajo o vremenu, ki ga ob\u010dutimo iz dneva v dan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na Primorskem je najbolj znana burja. To je hladen in sunkovit veter s severovzhoda, ki nastane, ko se hladen zrak iznad notranjosti Slovenije spu\u0161\u010da proti toplej\u0161emu morju. V alpskih dolinah pogosto piha fen, topel in suh veter, ki nastane, ko zrak ob prehodu \u010dez gore izgubi vlago in se na zavetrni strani segreje. Ob morju se poleti pojavljata tudi maestral in burin \u2013 dnevna vetrova, ki nastajata zaradi segrevanja in ohlajanja kopnega in morja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010ceprav veter v\u010dasih dojemamo kot nadlogo, je nepogre\u0161ljiv del naravnega ravnovesja. Brez njega bi se topli in hladen zrak neprestano kopi\u010dila nad posameznimi obmo\u010dji, vreme pa bi postalo monotono. Na njegovo hitrost vplivajo tudi oblika terena in ovire, kot so gore, doline ali zgradbe, ki lahko veter pospe\u0161ijo ali upo\u010dasnijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hitrost vetra se meri z anemometrom, izra\u017ea pa se v metrih na sekundo (m\/s) ali kilometrih na uro (km\/h). Za opis njegove mo\u010di se pogosto uporablja Beaufortova lestvica. Zaradi razgibanega povr\u0161ja se zra\u010dni tokovi pogosto preusmerjajo in lokalno spreminjajo smer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na Primorskem prevladujeta burja s severovzhoda in jugo. Burja je pozimi najmo\u010dnej\u0161a, medtem ko jugo pogosto prina\u0161a padavine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Po ni\u017einah osrednje in vzhodne Slovenije vetrovi ve\u010dinoma pihajo iz jugozahodne in severovzhodne smeri. Zaradi lege v zavetrju Alp se povpre\u010dne hitrosti vetra pri nas gibljejo okoli 3 do 5 metrov na sekundo. Tudi na Kredarici le redko prese\u017eejo to vrednost. Na Balkanu je vetra \u0161e manj, saj ga pred prodori s severa in zahoda bla\u017eijo Karpati in Dinarsko gorstvo. Povsem druga\u010de je na odprtih ravnicah srednje in zahodne Evrope, kjer veter pogosto presega 10 metrov na sekundo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ko je vro\u010de, nas prijetno hladi.
